Living the Questions, part 2 -- Wednesday evenings this spring @ 6:30
Living The Questions is a series of conversations for those who are interested in exploring Christianity in the 21st century. LtQ is an open-minded alternative to studies that attempt to give participants all the answers and instead strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring what's next for Christianity.
The DVD-based programs emphasize questions, open-minded discussion and journeying together to explore the insights offered by contemporary theologians interacting with current culture and politics. We will meet Wednesday evenings at 6:30 following worship starting June 3rd.
Confirmation for 8th - 9th graders meets throughout the year and includes camp, mission trips, service projects, worship and conversation with parents and others. Our Vocal and Bell Choirs provide small group spaces for those with musical interests. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings (Sept - May): Bells @ 6:30, Choir @ 7:30
Wednesday Night Study follows our Wednesday worhsip service. Anyone is always welcome to join us as 6:30 for friendship and conversation.
Men's Breakfast meet the second Saturday for conversation and good food.
An Adult Bible Study group meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM.
A Newcomer Class is lead by Pastor Susan Phillips so you might get better acquainted with new friends, learn about the Presbyterian Church (USA) and ask questions about First Presbyterian Church in Shawano and how you might be a part of what G-d is doing in this community.
We also have ever changing opportunities for book studies, retreats, service projects and other ways for you to use your spiritual gifts.
